A lot like Connext, but a twist

I don't know whether this game's developer knows the dev of Connext (also on the App Store), but the similarities are striking. Both involve these red, green, yellow, and blue lines and loops on a hex-tiled board, but... the similarities end there. If you think they're the SAME game, you're in for a surprise. Enjoying one will give you a head start on the other, but there's still much that doesn't carry over from one to the next. Tantrix is a bit more complex in its rules, but when it comes to actual play, tends to be simpler than Connext (which is "deceptively simple".) There are a few very minor kinks that I hope to see worked out in the next update (pinching to zoom in farther than the default doesn't seem to be possible; the interface is a bit cluttered with buttons that don't seem to do anything except provide status; and having more tiles for play would make the game more challenging and more fun). In comparison, Connext (to continue contrasting the two) tends to drag on forever because there doesn't seem to be a final end point. Both these games are great for players with strong geometric senses, especially those who like to tie up the loose ends.
